- Preparation of monthly / weekly salaries including calculation of salary amendments, Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity/Paternity Pay, Student Loans, Pension contributions and other authorised deductions.
- Departmental analysis of the monthly / weekly salaries paid. Electronic Payments Schedule, if applicable.
- Calculation of any SSP, SMP and SPP recoverable and completion of the monthly HMRC payslip.
- Completion of the Employers Annual Return and Employee Forms P14 / P60. Electronic submission (E – Filing) of these to the HM Revenue & Customs.
- Dealing with HMRC and DWP queries, electronic submission of forms P45's / P46 etc.
- Annual Payroll and Employment Law updates.
- General advice on Employment Law i.e. Asylum and Immigration Act, holidays, redundancy etc.
