About Us      

Oldham Community Accountancy Service (OCAS) is a highly regarded, local charity which provides financial and management support and training for not for profit/voluntary sector organisations, community and faith groups.
 
There are three main strands of service delivery:

  • The Core Service which provides advice, training and support. 
  • A Payroll Bureau for the benefit of organisations which employ staff. 
  • An Independent Examination of Accounts Service. 

OCAS was set up in 1990. The organisation is funded by Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council and the European Regional Development Fund.

Our mission statement

'Assisting not for profit groups and organisations from the voluntary sector in Oldham to achieve their stated objectives by empowering them to manage their finance and resources effectively and efficiently'.
